IOWA's Strength of Schedule sits at a Gaudy, #17 overall.

The clones, on the other hand are down at #18 with a
SOS of only 62.

According to RPI Forecast, ISU will finish the season with the 6th toughest schedule in the NCAA. Iowa will finish with the 13th toughest schedule. http://www.rpiforecast.com/index2.html

Fans of both schools have no valid argument that either school plays a cupcake or soft schedule. Seems awfully silly to try to belittle either team's SOS.

And, let's face it, what truly matters is head-to-head and Iowa crapped itself in Ames again this year when victory was well within grasp.

Once the game is over I couldnt care less about them. They are an OOC opponent who only impacts our SOS. If they win, it either makes the Hawks win look better or the Hawks loss look better. Nothing more, nothing less. I'm far more concerned with the other B1G teams than anything ISU does.

It's a teams overall record, not some lame home court victory.

Also, unbiased Kenpom has Iowa #13, 4 spots higher than ISU. Also, Iowa would be a 3 point favorite at a neutral site vs ISU today. Doesn't change the fact that we loss, but does show that we are the better team and just crapped the bed.

What I find Funny, well more like hilarious is that at the beginning of this season,
the Clowns were in the Top 5 and the Clone-envy types really believed that the
Hawkeyes 'couldn't match-up' with the Jr College kids at Ames.
And now, half-way thru the season, it's the Hawkeyes that have the National buzz.

Can you at least wait and see who has the better NCAA tourney before tooting the Hawks horn? How about no more clown threads until we either make a deeper NCAA run or the day before we play them. You guys starting all of these threads are just as bad as the clowns.
