Iowa will never be relevant on the national stage until we get better athletes. Fran evidently doesn't understand it, can't recruit them or, thinks he can get it done with slow, unathletic players. This is not the players fault. It falls squarely on Fran and his assistants for piss poor recruiting.

Too much emphasis on in-state players. Iowa is a tiny state with limited athletic talent. When with either program accept that and focus efforts outside?

I saw a recruiting snippet from 4 years ago that had Moss listed as better prospect than Admiral Schofield. Who would you take now?
You have to question Fran's development skills. 4 years of Moss and the guy still can't handle or finish at rim.

Iowa only has 3 out of state African American athletes on its roster in a game that is dominated by players of African American. What kind of recruiter is Fran? Its like he his toxic material on recruiting trail when leaves Iowa. What does he bring to table? His best players are Iowa kids any Iowa coach can get.

Some of us seem to see that.

Unfortunately that doesn't seem to be the assessment of the people doing the recruiting or we wouldn't have the rosters that we've been seeing year after year.

UT player flopping before he even got hit. NCAA worried about injuries and they reward flopping...Falling guys in paint, yeah good recipe for safety.

Non-athletes did OK in 2nd half. Didn't win, but ...
