I am slowly putting together component system in my office as I enjoy listening to music when I work and when no clients are there.
That being said, my direct office space has a 10' x 10' area where the system is also located. The rest of the first floor area is attached rooms (old house).
My system consists of
NAD C356Bee DAC2.0 integrated amplifier.
NAD C427 tuner.
NAD C546Bee CD player.
PSB Imagine B bookshelf speakers sitting on Sanus stands.
Energy ESW C10 powered subwoofer.
The system sits on my computer desk with the speakers on either side in the corners of the room.
My computer music files are wired to my DAC as well.
Is this adequate for proper listening enjoyment?

OP you seem pretty proud of what you have, or why post? You picked out some nice components, which I'm guessing you want to hear. You also picked out equipment that costs a decent coin and want to brag. To answer your question- Yes, you're douche. You are now enlightened.

Coming from a douche, I will take that as a compliment. Proud, yes. Bragging, no. I do have a sense of humor as well. I post because there are some individuals on here that do know there stuff. If you don't like it , don't read it and don't reply.
Thanks and have a great day. ;-)

All you really need is a Hello Kitty Bluetooth speaker. The beats come out of the ears, and will blow you away.

If you really need the tuner and cd player there is this.

Disclaimer: Beats not coming out of ears so you won't get full sanrio sound.

Portable, eye catching, compact, chic magnet. I think I just shit myself!:):p

I am one. Do you go to the meetings?

My point- why post asking advice after the purchases?

I overindulged in Sonos.

That is a very nice system, especially for an office. You mention a DAC. If you don't have a nice one already, I bought an awesome (IMHO) Meridian Director and use that in place of the Directv receiver one. Makes the music channels (especially) sound great.

PS - the list price is a lot lower now at $350.
Thanks, I got a NAD Dac2 modular unit. I went the poor route buying this stuff thru Ebay and demo model purchases. Far from being a snob but bantering with those who have the toys. I am at a point that I can spend some disposable $ for my modest guilty pleasure. So yeah is this an ok system? I do like it and I guess that is all that really matters. But I do like to know what you HROT'rs utilize.
Thanks

I have the PSB's and they are one of the better book shelf speakers. Do you have a nice set of headphones for the times when you want to tune out your wife and kids?

I agree, PSB makes fantastic speakers that are affordable. We used to have 6 pairs spread out around the house but are now down to only 5 as I replaced my beloved Goldi pair with the astounding Revel F206. I have bought most of my gear used or B stock also. (As you can tell, when I see a good deal on PSB I think - where can I put them, not, do I need yet another pair:) Great way to save money though I did get bit once by a bad series of Denon model receiver. They finally refunded my money.
Maybe you want to try a gadget or two - the Antimode 8033 is a wonderful little subwoofer equalizer that sets itself up for the room it is in. That may be handy for your office.
