Awesome Gable shirt

I don’t see that post in this thread. Where you pulling it from? Must come from another thread. And what does it have to do with the apolitical nature of the posts in this thread?
I didn’t agree with you typing that I assumed Ping72 was far left, so I did some quick research and posted.
in all fairness, Ping72 are you far left thinking? Perhaps you are just left/democratic thinking, or Independent? If this is the case, my apologies for offending you. Also, my apologies to the board for dragging this into a rabbit hole of political bickering.
Crabby, if you want to dig your heels in and keep going, your choice.
I love the T-shirt and think the book is a good read.

Far left? Lol Is that metric now considered anyone not believing in the voracity of Q? Or would someone not believing the last election was stolen be far left?now? Because that line seems to move as the hard right takes over the GOP…

Or… Am I far left for thinking everyone should have access to health care and that it shouldn’t be tied to place of employment?

Just stop

Using the phrase he said to Trump for fundraising. Perhaps you forget the heated conversation on here about his acceptance of the medal from Trump.

Even if most think it’s no big deal... some people will. And that has got to hurt fundraising efforts.
Back to your basement weenie.

Or.... perhaps I have experience in the fundraising world and was simply pointing out that anything political is typically a poor decision.

What the heck does this have to do with politics? Was Gable not deserving of the honor? And was his comment not humorous? Those are the only two ways I can find political undertones in this venture.

You must just be blinded by hatred, which is sad. I say this as someone who didn’t vote for Trump and think he’s an awful person who was bad and an embarrassment for our country.

Do you not remember the multiple several page threads on here when he received the award and all the fighting and bickering?

My opinion and my hatred or lack thereof is irrelevant; it was obviously a divisive event.

I don’t. I probably thought it was really stupid so I stayed away. That does stop me on occasion.

I’m still trying to figure out how receiving the medal of freedom and dropping a coy burn on a republican President is devicive and politically pro Republican. Maybe you could enlighten me.

It was not a divisive event. It was a medal presented to someone who deserved it. Then the people who cannot be happy or they fear a politician they despise will gain some advantage started bi#ching and complaining and insulting. We cannot stop doing things just because someone will complain. There is always someone who will complain- especially in this political climate.

So if we were to be a bit more specific we would call it an event that wild eyed, angry, Trump hating people could use as an excuse to spew hatred and vile towards Trump. Just about every event Trump attended or presided over would fall into that category.

So let's not blame the event, let put the blame where it belongs. The event was a tribute to a great American and a great man. And this T shirt is funny, not a divisive T shirt.

The event may have been divisive. Shoot out a % of people who you think tie that quote to that event. Who will see that shirt and think ‘Trump’

In the eyes of those with fragile sensibilities.

Well I think both sides (on here) can enjoy Gable's comment: Those who hate Trump (Arnold is one) think its funny and those who like Trump know its true. Trump can dream about taking Gable out but he better wake up and apologize haha.
^ Should have ended the thread.
