You can speak to this, the internet has noted they didn't deploy any "slats or flaps" so it may have been hydraulic?
that's supply and command.
WOB ruling, here?
Yes. Has to be hydraulic. Haven’t dug much into it yet but you can drop gear manually so this makes me think for whatever reason they had no time to do so on final approach with something that caused full hydraulic loss. (Loss of both engines could cause that, preventing a go around to attempt at dropping the landing gear manually). Honestly this one right now is bewildering. You can speak to this, the internet has noted they didn't deploy any "slats or flaps" so it may have been hydraulic?
At this point Boeing deserves to go bankrupt and doesn't need any government bail out.
You make a shitty product long enough you go out of business, that's supply and command.

Not familiar. Is he an Airline Transport pilot with 9k hours and 15 years airline experience 😉. Nah I’m not discrediting him, literally never heard. I’ll check it out.blancolirio channel on YouTube will have a great video out most likely. Commercial Airline pilot who does excellent analysis of incidents.

what mode of transportation is ‘perfectly safe?’Damn. That was horrible. With where we are at with technology, we still do not have flight perfected. It’s very, very good. But when you see this, it sure isn’t perfectly safe yet.
First question that came to mind for me too.Why is there a freakin wall end of runway!?
Shins disagreeScooter.
He's a 777 pilot for an airline but that's not advertised on his channel. Former C 130 guy also. You can infer more from him being checked out on both with presumably some in-between than I can.Not familiar. Is he an Airline Transport pilot with 9k hours and 15 years airline experience 😉. 757 has amazing short field performance. The 737 max…not so much. That used to be so awesome when ATA would fly the 757 out of there
I seem to recall a jet winding up on Cicero Avenue once.Have you seen midway?! They have EMAS at least
To stop wayward planes! Why is there a freakin wall end of runway!?
I remember that. Probably 15-20 years ago during a winter storm and slid right through the barrier. I don’t believe there were any fatalities, though several car and truck drivers likely shit themselves.I seem to recall a jet winding up on Cicero Avenue once.
