Predictions for this year aside, the one thing I think every Hawkeye fan agrees with is the future is bright. Ton's of young talent, recruiting tickling at the feet of the elites with Wieskamp and Patrick C. among others....

In looking at the players who will be attending the media days I admit that I am/was a bit surprised.....I thought Happ from Wisconsin was older as well as the guys from Illinois. Even though Michigan lost a lot it looks like they have some senior experience returning that should be pretty good along with their incoming players.

Beating a dead horse here, but Media days in New York City seems like a complete waste, and even a bit of an embarrassment. Washington DC would be a stretch, but the Big Apple certainly has not grown to consider itself part of the Big Ten footprint. Kinda like inviting oneself to a party where few know about you and nobody cares who you are!
