So many great freshman in the league this year: Carsen Edwards-Purdue, Amir Coffey-Minnesota, Anthony Cowan, Justin Jackson and Kevin Hueter-Maryland, Cassius Winston, Miles Bridges and Nick Ward-MSU, Jordan Bohannon, Tyler Cook, and Cordell Pemsl-Iowa, and Tony Carr, Lamar Stevens and Mike Watkins-PSU and I'm sure I'm overlooking some.

I assume Miles Bridges will be the Freshman of the Year, but wonder if any Hawks have a shot at the team. Lots of stiff competition this season.

Pretty sure we haven't yet seen the best from our red shirt freshman yet either in Moss. I think he comes up big against Whisky... just a feeling, I saw a few good things from him in the Maryland game, not quite where he was earlier but so so close.

I would have to think that we have two players on the team. Jordan Bohannon and Tyler Cook, for certain. Especially of late. These two have really learned to play together quite well. And it is showing. Cordell Pemsl and Bohannon have played well together for years now.

Pemsl should be close. When you lead the league in FG %, that says something. His play has been outstanding. That offensive rebound and game winning assist against Wisconsin were awesome. He just does not have enough minutes to make the all-freshman team.

If Cook isn't on the team this year, CP is on the All-B1G freshman team. That said, I think CP & TC play together more and more in the future. Love both of their games.

There were some good responses on the Sunday thread about this that might interest you.

As Hawk fans we'd like to think our guys should all be first team all freshmen, but thats just our perspective. The only one I think who makes it is Jbo. He's having a historic freshman year, both in assists, and three point shooting, and has been pretty consistent. Cook has an outside chance. He's coming on strong now, after being pretty inconsistent earlier in the year, when he was getting back from that broken finger. Pemsyl probably isn't getting enough minutes right now to be on the first team, and a lot of what he brings doesn't show up in the stats. Remember this is an outstanding freshmen class throughout the BIG, so it will be tough to get more then one guy in the first group.

Bridges is a lock, he'll make a freshmen All American team.
Bohannon is a lock, He's the best freshmen guard in the league. Stats don't lie!
The other 3 will come down to Carr, Cook, Ward & Coffey
