Nebraska wins the regular season title with a 21-3 win over Penn State. Congrats to them. I believe Iowa was the only series they lose this year.

Record wise, there was no dominant team in the B1G this year like there has been the past few years.

Wish the tournament was in Omaha again this year. I've always been a fan of going to the tournament in Omaha and then indulging in some good food and beer.

Iowa finishes tied for 4th with Maryland and that is who they play on Wednesday in the B1G tournament. I believe it should be a 9pm start on Wednesday and the bracket should look like this I think...

8. Purdue 5pm

4/5. Iowa
4/5. Maryland 9pm

Win your first two and you'll play someone from the other side of the bracket to go to the B1G title game.

I am basing my start times off of how it's been since they expanded to eight teams. I don't see any reason why it would change this year, unless it does change of course.

Schaffer is solid. He was all B1G tournament team last year. He pitched eight innings of one run ball in a loss to High Point on Thursday. He is 7-3 with a 1.67 ERA on the year.

Maryland also has a lot of power with Marty Costes, Kevin Smith, and AJ Lee.

Iowa can't afford to give the Terps free bases at all.

Yes, the Iowa series was the only conference series Nebraska lost this year. Iowa is a heck of a dangerous offensive team......don't like seeing them on the same side of the bracket. Any of the top 6 teams could legitimately win the tournament IMO

I was just thinking the same. I'd be there all weekend if it were in Omaha but I need to see the Hawks win Wednesday and Thursday before I make the drive to Bloomington.
