Two B1G teams made the Elite 8 in basketball, with Wisconsin vs. Kentucky coming up in Indianapolis this Saturday.

But, how does B1G Football look heading into 2015?

The East clearly has defending champ Ohio State going for them, but what about the B1G West?

People are critical of Iowa's Kirk Ferentz, but the most underwhelming head coach right now may be Pat Fitzgerald at Northwestern?

Purdue begins year 3 with there coach. Recruiting isn't gang blisters for the Boilermakers? Are they sitting at 14th?

The B1G West appears wide open in 2015?

This seems to be the Big 12 North ten years removed?

Weren't Missouri and Iowa State duking it out for first about a decade ago?

Nebraska has new Mike Riley?

Is he going to be a George Raveling type? Moves from the Northwest and helps bring in a talented group?

How far can Nebraska reload in 2015?

Is QB Tommy Armstrong the answer?

Like Iowa, all three front runners are losing some top playmakers on offense, defense or both.

So, is Illinois the real deal?

They have an outstanding playmaker at WR. A freshman who gave many opponents fits.

While we face 'Ferentz Fatigue' in Iowa City, looking around the B1G West doesn't bring doom or gloom, unless one is talking the match up with Ohio State in the title game in 2015?

Of course, over the last 50 years, even J Hayden Fry was snake bit vs. OHIO.

At least basketball gave some hope in 2015. The win over Davidson was unbelievable. Far tops the Iowa win over Northwestern in Football.

Iowa Football should be competitive in the B1G West. The four preseason games Iowa should be interesting, as well.

Is a 3-1 start out of the question? It finished that way in 2012.

So, is the B1G up, down or just right in 2015?
