It's called a Full English Breakfast and yes, it is gross. I'm onboard with eggs, bacon (even if it is back bacon), and toast, but who the hell eats baked beans, mushrooms, and fried tomatoes for breakfast? And who the hell eats blood sausage, ever?

I had a "Mexican" omelet at Meli's Pancake House in Moline yesterday. It is owned and operated by a Mexican family.

The omelet was chorizo, green peppers, jalapenos and SWISS cheese.

I found that . . . odd.

And you won’t find them many places outside of Texas. It’s getting a little better, but most places are still hung up on the breakfast burrito.
Central Market still makes the best breakfast tacos I’ve ever had.
