If you want to know who the refs are for, watch the over the back calls. Players are going after the ball, and if the player behind barely touches the guy in front of him they call an over the back call against the team the refs want to lose. The refs made several of these calls to finish off Northern Iowa. One thing about Iowa's blowout against Villanova, Iowa fans can't blame the refs, on the other hand we can sit back and enjoy Wisconsin fans crying about the refs

They call it in no form.

If you push a guy to get a rebound, it's a foul. Always has been, always will be.

It has nothing at all to do with being "over the back."

It has nothing to do with a push either. If you go over the back and make contact on a rebound it's a foul. Not an over the back foul, but a foul. It happens in almost every single basketball game. Talk to an official and see how often he leaves it as a no call.

Multiple calls / no calls that baffle me. The guy with inside position is blocking out, but some dude jumps on his back and they call foul on the guy with inside position for sliding under him?

Also think the NCAA needs to establish a rule that says when the ball goes through the net, don't touch it, period. Many instances of the team making the basket holding the ball or throwing it way up to the base line to the ref so the team trying to in bound it can't get it. Should be a warning first and a T the second. Way too much subjectivity with this call IMO.

I will give props to the refs for not making as many bail out calls for guys lowering their head and plowing into defenders. Niang is a hell of a player, but his lead blocker dribble drives do not merit a foul call every time. I feel the same way about Jok. If there isn't some type of basketball move being made / attempted, you can't punish defenders.
