Badgers OFer Brooklyn

Questions for those who follow Wisky more closely than I do:

* Is Gard the answer?
* Has recruiting falled off significantly?
* What's the story there?

It seems that ever since Bo left they have been on the decline. Which I like. ;)

His class for next year is top 20. May be a year of pain while waiting for that class to show up

They have no great athletes. Hard for them to get open looks. I watched them both games and they shot like 3 of 22 from 3. Rievers is a big drop-off from Happ and obviously what they had in Kaminskey. Brad Davison is very limited and is being exposed. The new flop rule has taken away his defensive preference. He flopped a lot. Bottom line, Bo Ryan isn't walking through the door. They will begin to drop.

Thanks, Jesus :)

His classes before this one ranked 14 (132 nationally) and 13 (74 nationally).

That program is a sell.
Which is why the are not great right now. According to 247, their class they just signed is currently 2nd in Big Ten and 17th in the nation. No clue how good the OSU transfer Potter is and if he will make an impact, but I am curious to see how they do next year.

They literally could have named the new flop rule after him. He's the first person I thought of when I heard about it. Playing Jedi mind tricks on how he approaches a game now I'm sure.

They have definitely struggled to hit shots. I think we actually have a lot more upside than Wisconsin this year mostly based on our shot making ability that hasn't really shown itself yet this year. I'm hoping we can start clicking soon

This year’s class is inflated by numbers because they signed five guys. However, the average player rating is about 8th or 9th in the big ten.

I mentioned this before but a couple of my best friends are huge Badger fans season ticket holders and they are not thrilled with their Guards (and said that before the year started). Think Trice and Davison are not very good. Has huge expectations for Rievers. They said the miss Bo Ryan desperately and they realized they probably missed out on their one chance to win it all.

I'm not yet in the boat that Wisconsin is really falling off the cliff. I think what we saw in the Depaul game is one team shooting the lights out and the other not so much. I think that Wisconsin shot the ball really poorly in this last tournament...but they aren't going to do that all year.

That Koke King is a pretty athletic....Trice is pretty quick. There might be a couple other pretty athletic guys there.

Why do you worry about Wisconsin? How many times has Iowa defeated them in the last 6-8 years?

2021 is also very good already. We won’t be going anywhere. This year will be interesting. Need to get Potter and then we’ll have some help for Reuvers.

Trice and Davison have their limitations. The only thing they can improve upon is their consistency. They aren’t going to add anything. They are what they are at this point.

2019 was a 1 person class. Tyler Wahl. 2018 was not good after Herro went to Kentucky after being committed for nearly a year. 2020 &2021 are looking good, definitely a step up from the past few.

This is true, but they have 4 players in the top 173 nationally by 247. The average of the class is drug down by that fifth, very lowly rated player.

In 2020-That would be Jordan Davis. Now that he is concentrating on hoops. He could be a surprise. Or not!
2021 the 3 committed guys are all in the top 141.
