Huge chunks of the field are coming up on nearly every play. Sod lines and topdressing sand still very much visible. There should be zero football played on this surface.

The tuffs of dirt that kick up when the players run is awesome

As the game wore on, it looked like they were putting sod chunks back in place and burying them in sand. That field looked like Verdun when it was finished.

Bahama's Bowl officials indicated they will not be hiring the City of Chicago groundskeepers to maintain the field after this year.
