Anybody know when/if the next phase will take place? Barta cannot drop the ball on this, I am convinced the sky is the limit as far as B1G baseball goes for Iowa, as for NCAA/CWS talk...who knows. I didn't know if the announcement of football renovations had an impact on this.

Great question, I'd think that demolition of the current stands would have had to already been started by now to have a chance at being ready next spring. So next phase would seem to be at least a year away.

Coach Heller has done an amazing job doing fundraising, but it'd be great for Barta to come out and get a big plan like this for baseball.

It all goes hand-in-hand. Also included on Barta’s master plan to be accomplished by 2026 are construction of new baseball and softball stadiums, and improvements at Carver-Hawkeye Arena’s video board, sound system, basketball court and concourse.
