Interesting. I saw him play earlier this month and his speed stood out. Now I know why Desi was at the game.
He's probably a college OF, but plays pretty much anywhere on his PG team. He has excellent speed, is a good hitter with a bit of power and is crazy competitive. Slash line is .419/.543/.473 as a freshman at the varsity level in 4A. 26 of 29 in steals.

what do you think about next year? will we be better, worse, about the same?
I have to admit; before Heller's arrival, I did not pay much attention to Iowa baseball. What a great hire!

Too early to tell. Graduation and the MLB Draft hit hard, and would have been good to have the JUCO kid Howell enroll, but he went pro too. But Heller has done a nice job of recruiting both high school and JUCO ranks. He gets his teams to buy in to what Iowa wants to do, and his teams will play hard and compete. They brought in a lot of good arms last year and coming in this year, so there is potential.
