Iowa took 2/3 last year in a series that many thought sealed the deal for an at large bid. Then they ranked against Northwestern and the conference tournament.

This will not be easy to say the least, especially with the early season issues we’ve seen.

This is why I said the Big Ten doesn't need to have its officials hold Iowa back with their inconsistent officiating against anyone whether it's a Michigan State in basketball or a Wisconsin in football or an Oklahoma State in wrestling.

Iowa will absolutely do their bau Iowa stuff and play to their competition and find ways to lose on their own. They don't need the officials to help them fall on their face.

Yeah the Big Ten risks the rare opportunity that Iowa plays above what is expected and they win games that people didn't expect them to win or be in a position to do things that weren't expected of them...........but let them f***ing earn it or lose it on their own.

Iowa baseball is the quintessential bau case for this. Very very very rarely is Iowa impacted by poor umpiring at the plate or missed calls on a play at a base. They win...and they lose....on their own. They can play up, and they can play down to their competition and it can vary from night to night.

This is Iowa f***ing athletics in a goddamn mind-numbing nutshell. (take the Iowa women for example, beating #7 Maryland and then blowing the next game against middling Indiana)

So ENOUGH with the goddamn garbage officiating in other sports. Simple as that.

I think he is saying that Iowa finds to lose on their own and let us down. The examples he used were 2018 Iowa Baseball and this years women’s basketball team. We don’t need to be hosed by officials like we are in football and basketball. We’ll turn around after a huge win and lose to someone we should not.
