Any insight on Sean Moore (Wichita St transfer) and Colby Brecht (Long Island U transfer) and that they bring to the table for Iowa?

I also noticed that it appears Kaufman was granted a medical RS so he will be a RS Junior and Martsching used a redshirt after having the surgery so he will be a RS sophomore.

Moore had put up some impressive stats while at DMACC but never played at Wichita St. From what I've heard I wouldn't expect a lot out of Brecht but he certainly has a big frame behind the plate.

Per the roster, Joe Tellez, Jacob Sharp, and Jake Riffice are all no longer with the team.

I am somewhat surprised that Riffice is no longer listed as being with the team. I figured he may step in at SS this year and he was a Heller recruit for Indiana State. Tellez wouldn't have started this year, but certainly would be our number two behind Frankos at catcher I'd think.

Linebarger is gone, too. Lost some depth at catcher. Sole could be a good one though.

I mean no disrespect to Linebarger but he wasn't going to see the field in his career and was more of a bullpen catcher.
