- I was hoping for a big improvement from Woody, but he struggled tonight.
- This feels like a Wisconsin team, where Fran plays the big 6 and sprinkles in a couple newcomers. It's possible they go 10 deep, but I'd imagine they go the big 6 80% of the time.
- I liked Christian Williams at point.
- Ellington played early and a lot, but didn't hit much.
- Fleming seemed to be confident and played solid D.
- Wagner played ok at both ends, but missed some easy post buckets.
- Dale Jones will contribute this year.
- Gessell and Clemmons seem to play better when they are both on the court.
- Uhl and Uthoff are the key to this team.
- The Defense needs to improve. Obviously, the newcomers were slow on rotations, but even the big 6 were slow.
- Fran was calm most of the game. But, he got on Woody at about 7 minutes to go with a series of poor plays.
- I can see Baer contributing this year due to his defense.
