I've never had a groin pull or taken the shots CJ has, but are those injuries that can fully heal in 2 weeks?

Is it a groin injury, or was it a sports hernia?

Either way, no, that's not something that heals in 2 weeks, especially when he's probably gonna have to go back out there and practice at some point in order to keep the rust off.

However, if he does a good job of nursing it then it should feel better than it probably does now..............

I just don't expect him to still be near 100% by then.

Not a medical professional but I don't think so. He will play injured/recovering from injury the rest of the regular season imo. Beathard is a tough kid.

Beathard's mobility will be limited and this affects his
ability in the pocket to pass or run. However, I think
the medical staff can nurse him through the rest of
the season.

Groin injuries are slow to heal. Depends on the severity of course. Easy to re-aggravate in a game like football and looks like he did yesterday. Suspect it will bother him the rest of the season.

To me it looks more like a hip issue. Heck...it could be both for all we truly know.

The Quad Cities Times newspaper reported this past week.
that Beathard was nursing hip and inner thigh injuries. This
did not allow him to practice full-speed for the NW game.

My guess is that he aggravated those injuries in the game
yesterday. Hopefully 2 weeks rest and medical attention
will allow him to finish the season.

He will be fine.
