Dr. Meyers is the leading specialist in the field and has done similar types of procedures on NFL players like J.J. Watt, Marshawn Lynch, and Arian Foster in the past.
Beathard, who attended Iowa's basketball game on Sunday, has already started the rehab process and should be back to normal in about 6-8 weeks.
