Anyone watching. Fascinating to me. You see them putting together the songs we know and love before they have them. You see “Let it Be” and “Get Back” literally come to them. It’s like we know something about them and their music that they don’t…yet.

“Let it Be” was the last released album but second to last one they recorded. That was “Abbey Road”. And after the initial loss of George for a couple days, the band looks completely happy and in harmony with one another. Their dislike of one another has been greatly exaggerated.

And a lot of these songs have climbed the ladder for me. I’m digging “I’ve Got a Feeling” now for sure.

I think it was Spin magazine that recommended people that aren’t really into the Beatles start with episode 3 and then work backwards.

Its really long, and I’m only halfway through episode 1. But I love all of these songs, and I love documentaries about recordings.
Yeah…first episode is toughest to get through…just meaning the other two are better. I think episode 2 is best. They were really hitting their stride in that one. I wish there was more George Martin in the whole thing though because I think he’s the Phil Jackson of rock and roll. He knew how to get the most out of the talent.

I’ve had Get Back in my head for about 3 days now. Won’t leave
Same. The other day I watched that clip where Paul is strumming and doesn’t really have any words yet so he’s just kind of humming and vocalizing nonsense words.

And combine that with the fact that I don’t really know many words to the song either, mostly just some of the chorus and then that one line about Jojo was a man who thought he was a loner.

So I’ve just had those 2-3 lines of the song that I actually know on repeat in my head for the past several days.
