BEER!- This years Hopslam

One of the most ignorant things ever written on this forum regarding beer. You are clearly beyond clueless.

LOL. Really? Prove it. The craft beer community as a whole has already spoken and Midwest breweries and New England breweries are on another level.

The fact you called Russian River a one trick pony proved it for me and everyone who knows the first thing about craft beer. You're either 19 or borderline special needs. I'm guessing the latter.

What else do they brew that's considered great that isn't an IPA? That's what I thought.

They're widely viewed as one of the top sour beer makers in the world, most put Cantillon and them in a class all by themselves.

Sours? That's what you're going to go with?

So anyways... Yeah the West Coast is lagging when it comes to beer.

Madhouse in Des Moines has a solid lineup. Standard handles (Honey Pils, Pastime Pale, Hopburst IPA, Coffee Stout & Imperial Red) are all solid for their type.

Their seasonal beers are outstanding. Currently they have a Vanilla Imperial Porter and Black & Blue Sour on tap that are both great. They barrel-age all the specialty beers, including the sours, which gives them very smooth drinkability.

Recommend highly if you're in the area.

Just as I suspected, A RAGING case of trisomy 21.
