Ben Krikke-- 6'9 F COMMITS to IOWA / Rienk Mast-6'9 C visiting 4/6-7 / BJ Mack-- 6'8 C visiting 4/17-19

Again, you wrote this: "If a team does not have a top 10 ranked offense, they won't win the title. Plain and simple."

Everyone can comprehend what you wrote.

I then simply went back 9 seasons and stated that the 2014 UConn championship team finished 39th in offensive efficiency. Imagine what it was entering the tournament.

I mean, how plain and simple can I make this for you? Would a drawing help? ;)
Yet another post from you without answering my question, let's try again:

My initial post in this thread was that top 10 offense is the #1 requirement and indicator to win a national title, having a top 10 defense is not a requirement but certainly helps. Are you disputing this statement?

Thank you for proving my point.

The Twitter Tard (credit to @Legend12 for coming the name creation) has been particularly agitated lately. Easy to accomplish, hilarious to see.

Actually, you are just proving my point that you are a worthless troll. You just admitted that you are doing nothing more than trying, yet failing, to agitate. But hey, I am sure you are used to failure.

And you clearly are not very bright. Your Ava Jones idea, where you would have her attending Iowa, but not on a full ride scholarship, just proves it.

There are plenty of people on here who post tweets. But none of us are retarded. And I know there are several on here who take great offense to you, or anyone, calling people retards.

You're quite the embarrassment.

LOL

I am done with you.

Everyone can see what you wrote.

Hope your day goes better for you.

You better contact the admins to see if they’ll delete this post for you to Fran as it’s not going your way.

You remember, like you’ve done in the past with the previous admins and Mike Z publicly called you out for being childish, among other things.

Do you ever proofread your posts? Good grief. Your first sentence needs cleaning up. Your 2nd paragraph is not much better.

You really suck at trolling. But hey, at least you didn't call me a retard this time.

Ahhh yes, the grammar argument invoked when all else fails.

I guess one question with Mack is does he think there won't be enough minutes with Krikke on board? Mack is definitely more of an in the paint player, and Krikke looks slightly more mobile, and will extend a little farther on 2 pt shots.
Love that Mack is 80 percent from the FT line. He's an absolute load, and would stand up to the pounding refs allow in B10 play, plus get to the line.

We need him. Please. If we don't get him I hope big jelly decides to stay again.

Since Mack is a decent 3 point shooter, I think offensively Krikke and Mack can play together. I guess my only concern is either of them guarding opposing 4s--that's a bit scary to me as most systems have their 4s run around on the perimeter these days and often can put the ball on the deck a bit and drive (Hauser, Sensabaugh, Lundy, Scott, Mayer just to name a few).

On the question about playing time--if that's Mack's #1 focus then that makes Iowa more attractive than Bama or Arkansas, but slightly less attractive than SC or LSU.

So has Brauns committed to the Hawks? I haven't seen anything yet.
Not yet to my knowledge. It’s a done deal though by the sounds of it.

They’re probably waiting to announce until all potential transfers with mutual interest are finalized - either Iowa or elsewhere.

If we land someone, Brauns is a PWO. If not, he gets a ride. They’ll announced accordingly at that time.

I would be very surprised if Krikke and Mack both didn't start, if we are lucky enough to land him. Those two plus the the freshmen bigs and Mulvey give Fran would give Fran a lot to work with on the inside.

They would be a really good combo offensively and a pretty poor combo defensively.

So basically right up Frans alley.

He's talked to Fran several times, and came home for a visit. I don't know if he's back in the area full time, but he's been in repeated contact with the staff. It's a wait and see thing as to what kind of money, or a scholarship offer will be in the works.

Yes, though it has sounded like Arkansas has backed off a bit and he might not take that last visit. So if that's the case, SC would be his last visit.
Losing the Arkansas interest is good for the Hawks if true. They seemed like a more realistic bit of competition. I do not see Alabama as a good fit for him, and I think they are the last visit?

Maybe. Dillard played at 6'4, but as an older guy he might have lost some of that. Mack kind of appears to be standing at an angle away from Dillard, so, pretty close to a legit 6'7?
6'7" is sufficiently large for what his best role would be as a Hawk. The guy is pretty athletic.

Already visited Bama. South Carolina this weekend.

Mack is plenty big enough. Hope he comes here early and gets some top fitness training and time with his teammates. He will give us two pretty salty interior threats on offense. The coaches will have to figure out the other end of the court. As we have mentioned, this is a great year for our overseas trip.
