I thought it was all downhill after Devries but with everything I've seen since and the reviews people in the know have about him, this is it. BM is the guy we've been waiting for. I will never understand why so many of our fans felt like this - Acting like our A.D. was all-in on DD, struck out and had to start over.

I believe BG got exactly who she wanted from the start (and who a great deal of Iowa fans preferred over DD). Interviewing the available (i.e. no post-season coaching responsibilities) DD was due diligence, but his being the first interview in no way was an indication that he was the first choice.

I know Iowa doesn't hold a monopoly on psycho fans, but we sure seem to have a large market share.
