Is Bernie Sanders a supporter of Israel and if so does that change your opinion of him?

If he were in the Netanyahu camp of Israeli supporters, I have a hard time then understanding how Muslim congressman Keith Ellison would endorse him, don't you think? I think he has a balanced viewpoint to the middle east much as Ellison does. I think it would be a very interesting campaign if Sanders were to win and then select someone like Ellison as his running mate. That would be interesting to have a Jewish/Muslim presidential ticket, eh?
