Our defense won us that game! Couldn't a 3pt shot. We had at least 10 blocks. Wisconsin made 1 shot in the last 10+ minutes of the game. We got some steals. Forced a shot clock violation. We were just stifling on defense. Wisconsin had nothing outside of screens for Trice up top. When was the last half we played better defense than that?! Wow!

The nice thing about it is now Iowa is dictating the game. Work hard on defense, they know they have their offense and can find the needed points from there.

I was thinking the same, been watching Iowa basketball for many years now and that Defensive performance rates up there as being one of THE BEST... IMHO
I recently re-watched some games early in the BTT season. Night and day, I knew it was bad, never felt like we could get a forced stop. Opponent either missed open look or unforced TO.

Agreed. We’d have a few more L’s if we stuck with that zone D. Man D has been a pleasant surprise for sure.
If you take the first ten minutes of the game and the last 10 I think Wisconsin scored 15 total points in those 20 mins
