I started a thread a couple weeks ago that was voted the Best Thread in 5 Years on this board that was solely about wrasslin. So I don't get the animosity. Aren't Iowans supposed to be a friendly bunch, because y'all don't make a guy feel welcome.
There are many folks who come on here and talk "wrasslin" all the time who love it. Its when you talk trash as your first post that earns you disrespect, which is deserved. You haven't won anything of not yet as you're still yet to win an NCAA championship in "wrasslin"
I'm guessing it has something to do with this line: "some hardware at the end of the season". Phrase it like that and you will continue to get blasted.
Can anyone tell me how the recruiting team rankings work in wrasslin? Is Mizzou or Iowa bringing in a top class? A lot of team rankings cost money just to view, which is complete crap.
I can't talk for the other posters only myself. I'm an Iowan and I'm not friendly to southern rednecks.
It's funny because Missouri doesn't even have a top 5 recruiting class, and Iowa's best recruit (Kemerer) is #10, Missouri's best is #28 (Wisman).
I get you're trolling, but at least stick to your pretend national title that Missouri won.

I have:
#1 - Iowa / OSU too close to call. I'm leaning iowa because i think burak and bobby overcome the 4 seed. and OSU is favored way too high (but deserve it at some wts). Clark and Jeva have room to improve above their seed (as does Moore - but who am i kidding)
#3 - Minny no real shot at #1 unless a miracle happens - and even #2 is long
#4 - Ill / Nebby / PSU - no chance for 3rd but could make an interesting fight for 4th. I see these equal

Whether you like it or not Penn State will either win Nationals or determine the winner. Whichever team ends up on the same side as our big guns will not win because we will knock them out of the tourney.

If Missouri wins it, good for them. It will be earned, but it will also be a one and done. Their recruiting (although not bad) is no where near on par with Iowa, Penn State, Oklahoma State or Minnesota.
Missouri doesn't have the horses to sustain success long term.
