As much as I hate to say it, but Teddy Allen of Nebraska is the best offensive player in the league right now. He can score from anywhere...on anyone...and is very good at old school shot creations (i.e., driving a defender and shots on the move). He looks like he belongs in NBA right now....he'd be out of his mind to return to Nebraska next year.
But.....having watched his 41 point performance vs Penn st. ....is he not traveling on many of his drives? (regardless of the "euro" step!...and since when did that become an excuse for traveling?)
I started counting his steps...and many times he took 4 steps!!....and once he even drove then took a step with ball.. then stopped and hopped both feet and then hopped again both feet and made the shot and drew a foul as defender couldn't defend that). You cannot defend someone that is allowed to run around with ball forever.
I would like to see Refs start calling the game from the real rule book....not their own opinion or bias or fears or whatever makes them ignore calling traveling, up-and-down and palming the basketball (I know that bird has flown since Michael Jordan made a career of it).....and one other one....is there such a thing as over and back anymore?....at least not as strict as it used to be.
