Without giving it much thought, Quantum Leap immediately comes to mind.I just noticed that the Battlestar Galactica remake is on sale for $40 (blu-ray).
It definitely makes my top 5.
What shows top your list?
Original. I haven't watched the new one yet.New one or original?
I like both.
That is my number 1 and The Leftovers #2 (is that SciFi??) #3 Last of Us. For some reason, I have not seen that many. Some on my hope-to-watch list are:Also Andor was way, way better than it should have been. As good as any Star Wars not named episode 4 or 5.
Andor ranks on top of my anything star wars list. Andor and then Empire then a big drop. Also Andor was way, way better than it should have been. As good as any Star Wars not named episode 4 or 5.
In my humble opinion, there really has been nothing that compares.Twilight Zone. It was so ahead of its time it's almost unbelievable.
I like all the Stargates. Even SG-U.Stargate Alantis is pretty good also
Battlestar Galactica remake and Caprica
Old Quantum Leap
Sliders
Eureka is another favorite. Lighter weight, but well done and great fun.In no particualr order
Dr Who (both early and re-launch)
ST:TNG
Eureka
X-Files
Quantum Leap (original)
Firefly is another favorite that deserves to be on my list. That is my number 1 and The Leftovers #2 (is that SciFi??) #3 Last of Us. For some reason, I have not seen that many. Some on my hope-to-watch list are:
Black Mirror
Lost
Stranger Things
Fire Fly
Severence
Maybe the Boys should be in my top 5.
Stanger Things loses a lot of luster as the seasons progress and becomes boringly formulatic.
I remember first watching these as a kid and smirking since they were old assed black and white. That was until I watched one and was hooked. Pure genius and probably still stands the test of time (at least with the themes).Twilight Zone. It was so ahead of its time it's almost unbelievable.
I liked it a lot at first. Later on the thought-provoking elements waned and the body count rose, but I still liked it, overall.Anyone here like HBO Westworld? I just could never get into it.
It had potential, but went way too SJW instead of focusing on interesting story lines and complex plot elements. The Watchmen did the same thing. So did Dr Who, Rings of Power, and The Last of Us.Anyone here like HBO Westworld? I just could never get into it.
I was excited for Caprica but SyFy killed it pretty quickly.Stargate Alantis is pretty good also
Battlestar Galactica remake and Caprica
Old Quantum Leap
Sliders
I just started Severance last night. It’s right up my alley.
I liked it.Anyone here like HBO Westworld? I just could never get into it.
I was out after S2 ended (barely made it through at the end) and they showed S3 previews with the blonde girl in futuristic cities murking people.I liked it a lot at first. Later on the thought-provoking elements waned and the body count rose, but I still liked it, overall.
Might not make my top 20 but worth a mention. Heck, give it a couple more years and it could be worth a rewatch.
Could have been better but I enjoyed it.
