President Joe Biden has the worst job approval rating since Eisenhower during his recently completed 13th quarter in office, according to a new poll by Gallup.

While Biden clocks in at 38.7%, the previous low was set by George H.W. Bush at 41.8% in 1992. Donald Trump and Barack Obama averaged 46.8% and 45.9% respectively during the same point in their presidencies. Prior to Bush, Jimmy Carter is the only other president with a sub-50% average in his 13th quarter.

Richard Nixon, Ronald Reagan, Bill Clinton and George W. Bush averaged between 51% and 55% approval in their 13th quarters, while Dwight Eisenhower had the highest average for a president during his 13th month at 73.2%.

What's more, Biden's most recent approval rating places him 277 out of 314 presidential quarters in Gallup history dating back to 1945, placing him in the bottom 12% of all presidential quarters. Biden's score is technically the lowest of his presidency, which has been dragging in the low 40% range since Q4 of his term.

Put another way:

I have no issue him as a 1 termer. I do however have a lot of concerns about him, or any, octogenarian running for president. Ergo, it is unfortunate that he is the best option we have going into 2024 election.
He's a good President and the incumbent with all the advantages. If Trump was imprisoned and not a threat I'd agree with you but these are not normal times.

He is still the best option we have right now (unfortunately). Regardless of popularity contests.

88 polls for Obama vs. single digits for the rest? Is that a typo, or did they actually do a shit ton more polls in 2012?

Because 35% of the country is an absolute stupid idiotic disgrace.
I don’t know why you are surprised, aghast, outraged, or whatever you are by this.

Biden may be able to do the basic ends and outs of the job (when he’s not napping), but the guy has never been charismatic and now that he’s in his 80s he’s 10 x worse.

On top of that, the average Joe Blow has been significantly hurt by inflation. People care more, way more, about affording rent, groceries, gas, etc. than they do about Trump paying off a porn star and filing it as a campaign expense. The latter just doesn’t land with the average person in the face of extreme economic insecurity.

None of that means Donald Trump is a good choice for president or that Joe Biden is solely to blame for inflation. What it does mean, however, is unhinged libs like you, who want to paint all people fed up with their economic situation (especially while government continues to spend money on bullshit while sending billions of dollars overseas on wars most Americans don’t connect with) as an “absolute stupid idiotic disgrace,” are going to push more and more people to think, **** it, maybe the mean tweets weren’t that bad after all.

Instead of actually acknowledging the economic hardships average Americans face and a plan to address them, Biden and Dems want to continue to tout job creation numbers and inflation leveling out after absolutely skyrocketing. Well, most people have more than one job (and still are barely making it) and in their minds inflation still isn’t fixed. I point that out to you so you fully understand who a lot of the people are whom you are referring to as an “absolute stupid idiotic disgrace.” And I got news for you—not all of them are white trash MAGAs. Some of them (gasp) are even black.

Sometimes I can’t help but think every time you post you add another voter to Trump’s column.

Maybe chill the **** out a bit?

If we want to be brutally honest the wealth gap has more to do with inflation than anything else. Corporate greed, price gouging, suppression of unions and wages. You can blame Biden. I blame the rich.

Inflation is caused by many factors, particularly when government continues to print money like it’s going out of style. I am not discounting greed, but there is way more to it than just rich people being rich.

Americans are also not frugal, nor do they want to have to go without. There was a time when people saved up to buy shit, and didn’t fill their grocery carts to the top with three cases of soda, five bags of Doritos, and box after box of Hostess snacks.

In the end, supply and demand drive prices. Americans need to consume less and lose weight.

And Boomer spending. Boomers are driven to spend everything they've got on their way out. More houses, vacation houses, boats, trips. This all adds up.

Well f****ng said.
I've posted multiple times how Trump will get votes even from non MAGA's because under him housing, gas, and groceries were more affordable.
The usual suspects will try to tell me why it's not Biden's fault or why it's Trump's fault and they completely miss my point that most Americans do not care about politics and only care about their bank accounts.

Also is it possible Chis is a Trump planted Psy Op?

Buying a house in 1970 for $12,000 and refusing to sell for anything less than $350,000 doesn't help either

Why are Conservatives so globally ignorant? Using post-pandemic inflation to attack the Biden Administration is just a smooth brain line of reasoning from MAGAts: @ButtersHawk want to chime in?

Reading comprehension. Try it. Then get back to me.
You aren’t that articulate or complicated, except in your mind. Why don’t you try again to make your case then. Are you saying these MAGAt mouth breathers are ignorant to hold onto inflation? Because I’d agree with you there.

And Trump’s “mean tweets” are far, far down the list for the public. His overheating of our economy, his disastrous COVID response, his countless examples of corruption (Using the Secret Service budget as his ATM at his properties. Chinese patents for his kids, EPA scandal, countless Emoluments Clause violations), his coddling of extremists, his dog whistling, etc. Anyone who thinks he lost because of “mean tweets” is an absolute moron.

Gotta love my boy Jimmy coming in at number 3. You go, JC!

A simple admission of lacking reading comprehension would have sufficed for a response instead of the incoherent diatribe you responded with.

If it wasn’t clear that I was responding to Chishawk about the perspective of other people who lack sophistication in their thinking but are indeed correct the economy isn’t working for them, there’s nothing else I can type that would be helpful to you.

1. I didn't attack the Biden Administration.
2. I didn't put blame toward anyone, what I said was things were more affordable under Trump (which is a fact), therefore based off that alone he'll obtain votes from non MAGA's
3. I said most people don't care about politics and the inner workings of things so your chart isn't going to work on most of the public
4. Again do you see where I said most people don't care about politics? Your response with a chart and the defense of a candidate literally proves my point. Go on the street and ask 100 undecided voters if that chart changes their mind and makes them feel better about their current financial situation and get back to us please.
5. Do you think Chis is a Trump planted psy op?

The economy isn’t working for MAGAt cultists because they are losers with room temperature IQs who couldn’t find their ass with two hands, let alone a career. That they think an out-of-touch, silver spoon buffoon who is only out for power to line his pockets is for them, is on them. The faster they kill themselves off with obesity, fentanyl, etc, the better. If then, your intention was to post from the perspective of the “thought process” (I use the term loosely) of one of these pathetic creatures, rather than excuse it, then my apology.
