Trump’s problem is as less politically attuned folks begin paying attention as the election draws closer, his unhinged, erratic and borderline insane speeches and actions are going to be MAJOR red flags for all but his most devoted (brainwashed) followers.
I expect Biden’s lead will continue to grow. Will it be enough to win swing states? For the sake of America, we better hope so.

If (god willing) Biden wins reelection in the fall, I expect it will be a similar outcome as in 2020. Comfortable popular vote victory overall, closer in the battleground states.
The polls just don't make any sense right now. However, Republicans have gotten their asses kicked in pretty much every special election in the last two years, many of them in deep red areas of the country. I find what has actually happened in actual elections to be a more reliable indicator rather than increasingly flawed polling.
Has to be the easiest choice ever. How anyone can vote for trump is inexplicable. He said recently he has people looking at how he converts the presidency to autocratic rule, more like a King, dismantling the judicial and legislative branches. He is insane, clearly.

The big story nobody really talks of is that is continues to really center on the ridiculously outdated Electoral College system that is creating this spectacle. There is is no doubt Biden will get more votes. He beat him by 4.5% in 2020. But it came down to some very close votes in swing states to secure the win which were then weaponized as stealing the election even though Biden had freakin 7 million more votes. And Trump lost in 2016 too by 3 million votes and 2%.
I really think a scenario is in play where you can have Biden win by 5% and lose the EC because it is so broken in 21st century America. The republicans have only won the general election of President one time since 1992….
Same is happening with gerrymandering and house of reps. The solution is an easy one too. It will not take a change to the constitution. We need to update the numbers of house representatives / EC (which are the same) to reflect current population. That number was based on population in 1920s and has not changed. Population has tripled. Reality is we should have 1300 ish House of Representatives and EC. It’s why we all feel underrepresented and Congress members are so powerful. And why rural states get more representation in the EC. Back then there was a US Rep / EC vote for every 250k people. Now there is one for every 750k people.

The Electoral College is unnecessary and serves no purpose. The President of the United States should be elected by a majority of the qualified voters. Period. Regardless of party affiliation.

If nothing else, we’ve seen for 8 years that pollsters have had a difficult time quantifying the Trump effect.
