I firmly believe going 4-1 in the final five games would land Iowa a 9 or 10 seed. No bubble discussion--they'd be in.

I cannot remember the Mich loss very well but both MD games were quite winnable. We collapsed down the stretch. Even splitting would have helped us immensely. We would be 8-7 and 16-10, a 3-2 finish would mean 11-9 and 19-12.

Iowa was playing awful BB when we played the first MI game. Fran hadn't figured out that he need to play Freeman and Dix yet, so our defense was incredibly bad.
