They concede that much is yet to be determined but for offseason fodder not related to David Porter, I welcome the column.

1. Stroud OSU...by a country mile.
2. Oconnell..PU
3. Thorne ..MSU
4. Tua...Md.
5.McNamara Mich
6.Clifford PSU
7. Bazalek...IU
8. Thompson/Purdy ..Neb
9Morgan...minny
10 . Mertz...Wis.
11. Petras...Iowa
12 Devito..Ill
13. Vedral..RU
14. Hilinski..NW

Outside of Stroud not a great NFL prospect in the bunch.

“Threetras and out” was the dumbest and worst attempt at humor I’ve ever seen.

And nowhere in this thread have you stated a fact.

Otherwise ur doing great.
Message boards are mostly opinions genius. The two OSU backups riding the pine behind Threetras is a fact.
They would be.

I would have Clifford higher up. Tualia sucks. He is way too high. But overall that is just a bad bunch of QBs.

I would disagree regarding O'Connell of Purdue. That dude is the most accurate passer I have seen in a long time in the B1G. We will struggle to control him next year even without Bell. The guy can play the QB position.

Be curious to see if O'Connell can make it in the NFL. Obviously not saying he is Drew Brees, but I feel like he could be a similar style player. Thing that will hurt him is his mobility. Quality backup I presume? If David Blough can make it as an NFL backup....

For as good as O'Connell is, Purdue fans are equally excited for their incoming freshman.

I remember when Mertz came out to replace a hurt Jack Coan and hit like his first 19 passes and looked like Joe Montana. Now not so much. Yet still better than what we got.

Purdue will have yet another WR that torches us...

1. Stroud, agreed

The next group of 4 (2 thru 5)
- Oconnell, Thorne, McNamara, Clifford

A little separation to the next Group (6 thru 9/10)
- Tua, Morgan, Mertz, Petras/Alex.

A little more separation to the final group of 6.
- Bazalek, Thompson/Purdy, Devito, Vedral, Hilinski

Petras is to low. Where is Alex? Tua is to high. Nebraska 8/9, really?

I'd take O'Connell over the other 3 in his group and it isn't close.

Verdal-RU is no longer the starter at Rutgers.

I know that mobility is a concern for Oconnell. What is the returning o-line look like for PU?
Shouldn't be worse. Lose their LT (didn't play in bowl) and RG. Basically played 6 guys all year. Lose two. Brought in a grad transfer I think? Plus 2 freshman they played vs Tennessee they really like.

I don't really think it drops off to where the offense takes a step back. I'd guess the oline is actually a tick better with more experience. Maybe that's gold colored glasses though.
