2019-20 Big Ten Men’s Basketball Conference Opponent Breakdown

Teams will compete in 20-game conference schedule for second consecutive season

ROSEMONT, Ill. -- The Big Ten Conference revealed a breakdown of all 14 schools’ opponents for the 2019-20 Big Ten men’s basketball season on Wednesday. Conference teams will compete in a 20-game conference schedule, playing seven teams both home and away and six teams once (three home and three away).

Below is the breakdown of each team’s conference opponents. Dates, times and television information will be announced at a later date. The season will conclude with the 23rd annual Big Ten Men’s Basketball Tournament (March 11-15) which returns to Bankers Life Fieldhouse in Indianapolis for the first time since 2016.

I like it....we should win a very high percentage of home games and I think we have a legit shot at winning 6 of 10 road games. That’s just a quick glance way to early guess....but I like it.

Good to only play MSU and OSU, which both are top contenders, only once. Much better to play Wisky at home, but much worse to play IU away. No easy schedules in the B1G.

Playing IU in Bloomington hasn't been so daunting lately, for Iowa or much of anyone else. How many Big Ten home games did the Hoosiers lose last season? It was a bunch. That's for sure.

Plus they lose Morgan and Langford.

Last year, losing a lot at home was an anomaly for IU. I don't expect them to be very good next year and they will again be very beatable, but Bloomington has been one of the two or three toughest places to play in the B1G for a LONG time.

Stinks not having home games against MSU and IU, but that’s the drawback from having a large conference. Used to be worse with 18-game schedule, and still isn’t as lopsided as the football schedule.

Hopefully we’ll have a great season.
