I saw this in my YouTube feed, it was awesome. I don't watch news show so anything that I am exposed to is through a YouTube clip. But, this was really well done. Chris Cuomo kept his mouth shut more than I expected. And Bill Maher just sums it up perfectly.

Cliff notes: everything said on this show about the Right and Republicans and how "they" are destroying this country, "why won't they just listen to us!", you could flip on FOX and there is a similar interview using the words Left and Democrats and how "they" are destroying this country.

At least Bill recognizes the two sides don't talk anymore and will not listen to each other and that they hate each other and that isn't a good thing. I do think he blames too much of that on the Right but I expect that because he acknowledges he is an old school Liberal. I agree with a lot of what he says, as an old school Conservative. At least the old school, common sense sides are willing to talk and listen, and that is what he is advocating for in this interview.

I agree with Maher on most everthing.
Here's were you are wrong. the far left is bad but the are not as organized and have a propaganda arm that runs the rest of the party.
MSNBC doesn't run the democrat party. Fox does with the R's. Fox is one of the worst things to happen to this country.

You can't expect too much given that the people in the interview both make huge sums of money they're entire livelihood is based on keeping social and political topics stirred up.

The more I watch Maher, the more I see how my views parallel his. I guess I can call myself an “old school liberal.”

I wonder what kind of President Bill would make? Could he appeal to enough moderates, independents, and pull some away from team politics? I'm not 100% in Bill's corner, but I'm in far enough where'd I'd likely agree with about 85% of what he'd likely implement while in office.

I think now we're diving into degrees which continues to define exactly what Bill is talking about in the interview. We've (as a society) have lost the ability to have reasonable discussions about the things we disagree on. Hell, we've lost sight of the individual, murderous actions of Darrell Brooks...instead, everyone is trying to blame the left or right for it and even in that it's a which is worse,

- Christmas Parade or Kyle Rittenhouse
- Kyle Rittenhouse or ....it just keeps going.

When did we lose the ability to just acknowledge when something is wrong or evil? January 6th was wrong...it was criminal...it was an act of terrorism. Darrell Brooks' actions were wrong, they were criminal, they were evil and possibly terrorism.
