Black man shoots white officer

Capital murder should be automatic death penalty in Texas. Hopefully the trial lasts 1 day and then this POS can be tossed into a crock pit.

THoughts and prayers to all.

Obama is the worst thing to ever happen to this country.[/Q
You have made it abundantly clear over the last few months that you don't like the POTUS. But when you constantly bring it up in totally unrelated instances, quite frankly, it gets to be "old shit".
Obama has absolutely nothing to do with the OP.

I'm still waiting for someone to talk about how reviewing our gun laws may have averted this senseless tragedy. But, I guess it's full throated race war instead from the AITG's and the doppelgangers tonight.

He added: "Something is going on in this county. It seems like everyone's out for cops. ... Cops don't deserve this at all," Jones said.

I like to paint with broad paint strokes too!

I talk to cops daily. I haven't heard this at all or anything close to this.

Restrictive gun laws only add to the problems.

Shannon J. Miles, who has been arrested at least six other times, twice for using force against an officer, is accused of gunning down Deputy Darren Goforth at a Chevron station at Telge and West.
Online court records reveal a lengthy criminal past.

Miles' first reported arrest came in February 2005 for failing to identify and giving false information to police officers. He would be arrested six more times between the first arrest and 2009.

In July 2005 he was arrested by Harris County SO for criminal mischief greater than or equal to $1,500. On Oct. 2. 2005, he was arrested again by Harris County and held for eight days for resisting "arrest, search or transport."

In 2006 he was arrested for "discharging or displaying" a firearm. Plead guilty and was held for 10 days. On May 3, 2007, Jersey Village PD arrested Miles for evading arrest. Nine days later he was arrested again for criminal trespassing by Harris County Sheriff's Office.

On Jan. 29, 2009, Miles was arrested for preventing or obstructing officers duties by using force against the officer.

You talk to the wrong police officers because most feel that "Something is going on in this county. It seems like everyone's out for cops. ... Cops don't deserve this at all."

Maybe you should consider expanding beyond the local donut shop to get your fill of current events. Breitbart was reporting black activists in the Harris County area calling for the lives of cops and white people before the shooting happened. Interested nothing was reported on CNN, huh?

I don't know to what degree things like that would be happening (seems like sort of a mixed-motivation for agitators/protestors when a black guy, but a cop, gets killed), but, yes, I think there would be more coverage and perhaps protests/agitation. (Again, "so you don't think..." just confuses me, as I have said nothing like that in this thread.) Tension and drama are good for ratings, and it is what the audience wants (proven by the ratings). It is also good for Big Race.

Don't backpedal now! Keep up the good social justice work...you really seem to be resonating with people here.

In fairness. They kinda do deserve it. While it's nice to say that the majority of cops are good and only a few are bad. The majority look the other way for the bad ones and allow them to continue in their dastardly ways. So while that an individual cop doesn't deserve to be attacked necessarily. Cops as a whole are not innocent.

I know this will get some hot headed emotional responses that miss the point so I will reiterate. I'm speaking generally of cops as a whole, and not supporting the murder of any cop. Cops as a whole have earned the public's distrust and disdain.

Does this apply to teachers as well, if not what's the difference?

Tell me how it's the same.

Several teachers have taken advantage of their students sexually, seems like this happens almost every month. Is this grounds for the public to distrust educators?

We've seen several of these cop shooting be justified, such as the Furguson incident, is there any justification for teachers sleeping with students?

So this applies to blacks and Hispanics as a whole also? Blacks and Hispanics as a whole look the other way.

cops have in no way earned any of this: it's all trumped up by Sharpton and Obama: not to be believed

is there a racist cop here and there in society? yes. does that mean all cops are bad? nope.

the teachers: since it's largely a liberal joint: teachers will always get away with it, especially if female, it's like a Hillary Clinton defense. don't mess with her, she's a criminal, but an icon

You might have a case with the Catholic Church or PSU Athletic department, but your going to have to give examples of when many teachers where aware of their counterparts taking advantage of their students sexually and looked the other way or claimed it was justified when it wasn't.

It seems to be quite the opposite. When other teachers become aware, they take action. That is not the case with police at all. They hide behind the "thin blue line" and put themselves above the general public They routinely watch their associates break the law and abuse citizens, then do nothing about it.

Wrong, in most of the cases of teachers raping students other teachers are aware at the very least of an improper relationship.

Has the black man then done the same in the publics eye?

You're straying far from your original post:

Bob Pelini - "You talk to the wrong police officers because most feel that 'Something is going on in this county. It seems like everyone's out for cops. ... Cops don't deserve this at all.' "
You:
"In fairness. They kinda do deserve it."
Your comment that "police kinda deserve it [it, meaning the Houston execution of the deputy] " is outlandish. Why don't you back it up instead of obfuscating.

Sheriff Clarke stated “I said last December that war had been declared against the American police officer, led by some high-profile people. One of them coming out of the White House, another one coming out of the U.S. Department of Justice. And it’s open season right now, no doubt about it.”

Where are the black leaders on this? This is a straight away hate crime, he was targeted because of his uniform.

It appears this is what the friends and neighbors of the executed officer consider rioting in his name, I like this a lot more than looting...

I very specifically said that is exactly not what I meant.

Just because I said the grass was green does not mean that I meant it is green.
