I came to accept Bo the last couple years. His experience added some consistency in games where the younger guys often floundered to make two good calls in a row when the game is on the line.

I think you are probably right about Bo. He didn’t seem as bad the last few years but he sure put the screws to Fran his first few years here. Bo had a wee bit of a temper and I bet called more technical fouls than most officials. Although I am just going by my sketchy memory.

My guess would be BIG coaches wanted him gone and retirement provides a way out for both and still save face. Boroski can still officiate in other conferences without a black mark on his record. JMO
