This is a national championship game and this is the quality of referees assigned to the game? I almost never criticize officials but I’m pulling my hair out!

Hard to say how much difference having a completely inept officiating crew has made, as LSU has played lights out and we’ve played really poorly, but yes, these refs are an embarrassment.

What a Z#%*& shit show the NCAA has become. Higher seed teams play lower seed teams close to home. An all black officiating crew refs an all black team against an all white team and you have this disgrace of a national championship game
LSU had plenty of shit calls go against them as well. They were incredible shooting from all over the floor. It's that simple.

That one bench player couldn’t miss in the first half when our fate was sealed.
That, however, doesn’t excuse that sh!t show of officials. That T on Clark late was laughable! She did nothing to warrant that T. Bench play and poor officiating was the difference .
Except they showed the replay and her mouth didn’t move. Must be training to be a ventriloquist or something…
If you say the replay. She walked over to the huddle of her teammates. She never looked at the official who was not near them.
I looked so see if she said anything as she tossed the ball OOB. Didn’t see her lips move.
The COMMENTATORS even said she didn't deserve it and didn't say a thing.

I don't know how many times I have to say. She didn't have to say anything. Tossing the ball WAS the technical. If you'd played even 5 minutes of junior high ball you'd know that.

The point was that the commentators said they thought she might have been dinged for saying something.
And for what it’s worth, Rebecca Lobo said on air at that moment that there’s no way a ref should ever call a technical foul in that situation in this game.
Did you watch it? The ball bounced to her and she brushed it behind her. SHE DID NOT TOSS THE BALL.

No tossing the ball was delay of game. Second delay of game of the game for the Hawkeyes which is a technical. Unbelievable to call that delay of game at that point. It was right before free throws. The game was stopped. Complete BS
It had to be before the ball got close to her. Lips didn’t move while the camera was in her that I could tell.
Yes, her behind the back toss was just a delay of game. I’m surprised they ever got the ball back. I mean, it’s not like the ball was already back on the court by the time the official called the technical for such an egregious delay. 
Can’t have a delay of game when play is stopped. It’s already a dead ball. Refs made up a call and a horrible one at that.
Not true. Almost all delay of games are with play already stopped
You can still have a delay of game on a deadball. If a defending player for example crosses the inbound line on an inbound play I believe that is called a delay of game and technical is awarded. This can be called even if clock is stopped. The player or team gets 1 warning, and the 2nd time it is a delay of game.
What I want to know is when and how Iowa got a bench warning lol........all the crap that nut Mulkey does on the actual court while the game is going on and Iowa gets a bench warning.
While they shouldn't have seen it called before in some key situations in other games. Some refs are very by the book, when they should let some things go.

No. You’re dead wrong on this. There’s no defending that.
Even bad officials know you’d have to be insane to call that on that player in that situation for that action in that big of a game.
Absolutely. And if you are going to call CC22 for the T then you gotta give crypt keeper one too for being on the court the entire game.
This makes a huge difference. Everyone knows our bench is not deep.
If these refs were by the book, they should have warned Mulkey for being out of the coaches box, almost the entire game, and probably injected her if she didn’t comply.
