It isn't just in the US



A long-lasting, prosperous society can only happen when old men plant trees that they know they will never sit in the shade of. This was the way in Canada for generations. Then the boomers came along and clear cut the entire forest. It is now incumbent for gen x and millennials to plant as many trees as possible so that future generations may once again be able to sit in the shade.
