I find it really creapy that the announcers are not even at the games. There is no emotion.
After Army intercepted the ball within a couple minutes, the old Texas coach got really excited 10-15 seconds late

I knew that they did this for low-rank BTN basketball games. How prevalent is it in the bowl season and college football as a whole?

FYI, when I was in college we would see the crews out the night before a college game.

Between ‘02-‘04, I saw Mark Jones and Bob Davie out a few times. Poured drinks for them at Micky’s and did shots with them at Martinis. One time, we took Bill Raftery to afterhours with us. He was bombed and would say “The Kisssss” on demand as long as we had a beer for him or coed for him to kiss on the, ahem, cheek. It was at the apartments just south of the Sheraton and I walked him back to the lobby at like 4 am. The next day, he called a flawless game. Straight professional and legend :)

It's been happening for years. Saves the network money.

Army winning 10 games and they way they won today was the best moment of the bowl games so far.

2nd place goes to Boise States botched attempt to revisit the statue of liberty that beat Oklahoma. Only this time it went about 90 yards the other way for an Oregon TD.

Wish you still did the confidence picks..bring them back next year?

Somebody took that over for me this year. At least I thought they did. Probably did for a few weeks and then realized there is a little bit of tedious work to it.

I watched the last 5 minutes and didn't even notice. What's wrong with me?

I don't know, I thought the USF/Texas Tech game was pretty good as well. I would have put that ahead of the Boisie St./Oregon game.

Oh ya as far as games go no doubt. I was talking about moments in the games. Army going for 2 and getting the win to get to 10 wins was #1. The individual play in Boise State - Oregon was #2 in my book.

There have been a few good games but for the most part the bowl season has been pretty disappointing in regards to competitiveness. In fact, the Boise State and Oregon game was never really in doubt after the 1st quarter.
