Overall matchups for the Hawkeyes are pretty decent. Ayala will have Provo in the 2nd round who he has some good wins and also gets to avoid DeAugustino.
It’s up to the guys to produce now. Really not that bad looking on paper.
I could see Deaug beating stanich and meeting Barnett in the quarters. That homeless wrestler just wreaks of boring ass upsets
Jordan Williams injury defaulted in the Big XII final with a shoulder injury.
Davis might not make the quarters. Tough draw for him.
He mostly gets Peyten Kellar from Ohio in the 2nd round. He has a win over Ed Scott and his 2 losses are to Paddy Gallagher and Will Lewan
Ayala got the greatest imaginable draw. But man. Kennedy at 12? Franek at 10. Even though both should roll through the quarters. Semis for Kennedy if griffith is hurt, possibly. Can see caliendo in the semis if ramirez craps the bed like he normally did last year.
