Actually, it would be a block on Stan since Stan was out of position
And it looks like Stan took a knee to the part where you don't want to take a knee!!!
Definitely a charge should have been called. The stanchion had established its vertical position for over 30 years.

Indiana wasn't even in the bonus entering OT. Wisconsin's defense doesn't rely on athleticism. They bump and check everything that moves and the officials become acclimated to it. Can't call those fouls because it would disrupt the flow of the game.
Or maybe they could call those fouls early, force Wisconsin to adapt, and allow the freedom of movement that offensive basketball players are allowed by the rules.

Trice is the only shooter on that team I worry about. He hit multiple clutch shots at the end of the game and the first overtime. The rest of them doesn't appear to be great shooters. But several of them appear to be kinda 'douchey'.
Maybe Fran can suit up Daviyon Nixon, and save him for one "special" play maybe right after the first TV timeout.

This guy has a pretty punchable face too for Wisconsin after making two back to back 3’s vs Indiana in the second OT:
Prior to making the two three’s and cocking off like he is some superstar, he had only made 2 of 7 from three prior to the Indiana game all season. You could just see the Indiana guys were looking at each thinking, who is this dork having a career, all in the span of a couple minutes. I guess it is true, the sun shines on a dog ass every once in a while.
Not sure how you can say that. Stan had established position, remained vertical (no arms or legs extended), and was clearly outside the circle. He didn't throw a shoulder into the player (even though I'm sure he wanted to). Clearly a charge.
