Officiating was horrendous

It's the NFL that does all-star officiating crews for the postseason. My understanding for college is that those are the crews they've worked with all season.

Watching a few of the bowl games, announcers even commented that they were using an all-star crew from this conference or that conference.

They'll provide the conference affiliation of the officiating crew, i always thought it was the original crew however.

could be wrong - i have no idea how they'd get 35+ all star crews tho
