Patriots signed CB Bradley Fletcher, formerly of the Eagles, to a one-year, $2.5 million contract.
This is what the Pats get for letting Darrelle Revis walk. Fletcher hasn't looked the same since tearing his ACL in 2011. He was dominated on a weekly basis with the Eagles last season; PFF ranked him 92nd out of 108 qualified cornerbacks and charged Fletcher with nine TDs allowed. Theoretically a press-man corner, Fletcher will compete for playing time with Logan Ryan, Alfonzo Dennard, and Super Bowl hero Malcolm Butler. The Patriots also figure to draft a corner.
