Impressive speed. Right there with DeJean.
Hopefully, Mota will be ready to go at WR this fall. Given the need at WR and the depth at RB, perhaps Doll could be like Ronnie Harmon and get early PT on the outside before moving to the backfield.
Those times would not qualify for the finals in many state track meets.
Just sayin.
Speaking of FL. Curious to see how our incoming qb resar fairs this year and what his best time in 100m will be. Think his pr was 10.6-10.7 range

It wasn't that long ago that only a handful of Iowa kids broke 11.00 in the 100 in a given year in all classes. Also, the cutoff for State in the 4A 1600 last spring was just under 4:30. Training is so much better than it was just 20 or 30 years ago.

A lot of track athletes (if they are top tier) will move to warmer climates to run year-round.
20 some years ago when I was competing at the Drake relays and State meet, the top Open 100 times were right at 10.6
Fast for Iowa but apparently not fast for states down South.

I get your point, but was it windy when they ran? Crap like that matters when you're talking fractions of seconds.
Well, I guess we should be glad they are football players then and not on track scholarship.
This is the point. They’re not trying to be Olympic track athletes. They have the speed to play any position on the football field. If they fail it won’t be because they’re slow plodders.

I have no idea. Is Doll even close to the freak of an athlete DeJean is? If so, he can compete at RB.
Gatlin Bair should be fun to watch in CFB. Wish he would have stayed at Boise.

That's where all the best athletes belong. Offense is for risk management.
