I really don't understand the reasoning for Brewer. If he's planning on competing then the NLWC would have been a great spot to be. Maybe he just wants to start focusing on coaching I guess. Going the Ian Miller route of turning down a great wrestling opportunity to be a volunteer assistant. Whatever his reasoning is he's still on a B1G coaching staff. That's a big deal.

Northwestern needed this especially with a head coach that doesn't exactly have the name recoginition of a Cael or Brands or Smith to draw in top recruits. Brewer and Howe are great additions to bring that program back. I hope they do.

Borschel is/was running a camp/club around Cedar Rapids? He's not a Northwestern anyway. Storniolo is the new Head Coach at Northwestern.

Not sure if they still have them still but maybe he is going to be a grad assistant. Would be a great way for someone to get a degree from a top notch school for free.
