All of these are on the 2-deep but Crawford. Just tremendous news that they were able to get 10 guys snaps on the d-line, and productive ones at that.

You could see last year he's got stud stamped all over him. I wouldn't be surprised if he keeps getting 30-35 snaps.

All of these are on the 2-deep but Crawford. Just tremendous news that they were able to get 10 guys snaps on the d-line, and productive ones at that.

What is more impressive is if you did not know or did not look at who was who and judged just by how well the ball was being moved or not moved in this case, you would not know the difference. Very little drop off AND that is upholding the standard the room has. Granted Illinois State, but still.

That sack move he put on the left tackle and then didn't loop completely around which would have left the edge completely exposed was a thing of beauty.

Yeah, that was total leverage bull rush, he swung his left arm and shoulder under that block, had great body lean and it was all over except for the punishing sack. Nice video

Too bad Anterio Thompson didn't stay. He likely would have been DT3 and gotten a fair number of snaps, plus he is effective on special teams at blocking punts. He had a solid game for WMU last week with 5 tackles.

He would not be DT3 based on past practice and work under Coach Bell, but he certainly would have been a candidate for DT4.

Kirk and Bell have said Allen just needs to bring it every snap, every day. Consistency.

Iowa will move players inside and out this season. Pittman is clear DT3.

I’ve liked what I’ve seen out of him. He’s got a lot of athleticism.
