Brooks + Meyer Brackets/Preview

Fix over NATO...Good match. NATO loses it at the end....all he had to do was step over with a sense of urgency that wasn’t there

Fix sweeps Tomasello 2-0. Wins the 2nd match 7-4. Tomasello is pretty one dimensional, and I think that costs him against the elite guys.

McKee and Walz also with the 2-0 Sweeps to make the teams. They both looked really tough, but didn't really face the stiffest competition.
Damn impressive by Fix. 57 kg is going to be fun for the next several years

Richie Lewis looking pretty good today, pretty much dismantled Berger in the 2nd match to the tune of a 7-1 dec. 2-0 Sweep for him as well. 70KG Champ.

Brooks was down 3-1 then hits the same cradle and roll through for 2-2 and gives up the reversal. Leads 5-4 at the break against Martin match 2!

Why were the second matches not in the same order? Did Martin request extra time to rest?
I think it has to do with waiting exactly 30 minutes after the end of the first match, and getting people in as soon as they're ready for match 2. Could be wrong though.

IMAR completes the 2-0 sweep for finals matches with a 7-6 win over Marsteller. Both guys were dog tired looked like, lots of energy exerted in both matches.

Nice variety of schools getting good publicity and representation here! And pretty decent international experience amongst the roster as well.
