I have Youtube TV and love it.....my daughter and her husband have Amazon..... My question is, can they watch BTN or FS1 etc. with Amazon? If so, how?

My daughter in particular is a big basketball fan and loves the Hawks.

Any help would be appreciated!

Amazon what? I believe the only streaming Amazon offers is Prime which isn't live TV (except for HBO and other premium channels). I'm not sure how they could watch games using Prime unless I'm missing something from Amazon.

We also have YTV. You can't beat it.

is there an amazon tv now? if not then no.

however, you could probably help them out with your password.....then I assume they could watch it on the btn app??

DIRECTV FOR THE W!!! Just call in and negotiate with them, my bill is way down and i have all sports channels.

I don't have either yet but I was told Genie had 4 connections while 2 has 7 so can hook up to 7 TV's wireless and can record 7 things at a time and share amongst all the TV's.

I’m guessing you have to pay a monthly fee for each wireless connection you want? Dish is like $7 for each additional wireless Joey.

Not sure yet, I was told I won't have to pay the $799 installation fee since I'm a long time customer, I got my bill lowered by $55 8 mos ago and yesterday when I called to play the game (I'm going to cancel) they lowered my bill another $15 and gave me my sports pack for free for 6 mos which is $13 a month in savings. So my Bill is down $83 a month now and I'm month to month no contract. My $55 reduction ends in 4 months I will call back then (To Cancel) and find out about all the details on the Genie 2 etc. They do a good job at working with you once your out of the contract. If I get the Genie 2 I'm locked in for 2 years so I am waiting for the $55 to expire then I will negotiate a new deal and then lock in for the Genie 2 is my plan.

There is a BTN and a Fox Sports app you can download on your Amazon Fire Stick. Also, you can download the YouTube TV app on your firestick and watch the YouTube TV channels that way. You can download the same apps if you use Roku. Not sure if this will help or not. I guess it depends on how they access YouTube TV.

But how much is your monthly bill?

Just to answer a couple of questions regarding Amazon, no you cannot get BTN or FS1 through Amazon, and for the rest of you, yes, you can get live streaming sports on Amazon. They have NFL, NHL, NBA, etc... and I guarantee when the next round of TV contracts are up, you will see live streaming of college sports as well through Amazon, Facebook, etc... they have the money.

that’s still 30/mo more than YTTV.
$30 a month to have 4 tv's with all the sports channels I want and endless DVR space....Yeah I'll go ahead and pay that. Easily the best lineup on all the platforms. I get people wanting/needing to save money but I'm happy where I got my price down to with all I am getting, have 2 TV's in the basement with receivers going so I can watch 2 games at once as is will have another one once I get the Genie.

I checked...it is Prime.

Thanks to each of you for the responses....

YTTV can run in two separate households at the same time? I took a Roku with PSVue with me to their place once (and my wife had not checked out of the PSVUE at home) and it would not let us get on.

I love my daughter, but if it comes down to her or me watching the Hawks, she's out of luck.
