What challenge can Iowa realistically present for Buckeyes?
There is nothing remotely interesting about a hilariously incompetent Iowa offense matching up against a top-10 total defense, although Ohio State will have to avoid any complacency creeping in on Saturday in the Horseshoe. The Hawkeyes have been incredibly impressive on the other side of the ball, and that defense may well represent the biggest challenge of the season so far for the Buckeyes. The Iowa defense has improbably kept the program in games week after week with no help whatsoever from the stone-age string of three-and-outs that Brian Ferentz is somehow allowed to keep dialing up as the program skirts nepotism laws. It would seem unlikely that the Hawkeyes can slow down C.J. Stroud enough to actually make the game itself competitive as 27-point underdogs, but that offense-defense matchup should at least be informative and entertaining.https://ohiostate.rivals.com/news/five-questions-as-recharged-buckeyes-prepare-for-iowa
